Volleyball: SMU Hosting SMU Doubletree Classic

There will be a lot of volleyball on The Hilltop this weekend, as the 8-1 Mustangs host the SMU Doubletree Classic!

Friday, SMU will face Houston Baptist at 12:30 and College Of Charleston at 7pm. SMU will then meet New Mexico at 2:30pm Saturday.

SMU defeated Houston Baptist in impressive fashion 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-14) today.

College Of Charleston tonight at 7!

New Mexico is also 2-0 this weekend, defeating College Of Charleston 3-1 and Houston Baptist 3-0 Friday. The Lobos are now 7-4 this season.

The winner today wins the tournament. Go Mustangs!

New Mexico took us to five sets, but SMU won 3-2 (25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 25-27, 15-13) to win the SMU Doubletree Classic!

SMU has now won 11 straight and is 11-1 on the season.

Cailin Bula was named tournament MVP.
