SMU volleyball is back in Moody this weekend for American matches against Houston and Tulane.

The Mustangs (13-3, 2-2) face the Cougars (9-7, 1-3) Friday night at 7pm and the Green Wave (4-12, 2-2) Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

All eyes are of course on the health of Caroline Young's ankle as SMU looks to get back on the winning track.

SMU comes back with a strong fourth set to defeat Houston 3-1 (25-13, 25-18, 23-25, 25-14).

Abbey Bybel leads the Mustangs with 13 kills. Cailin Bula added 12 kills and freshman Katie Hegarty had 11.

Avery Acker provided a solid 45 assists and 17 digs. Morgan Heise had 26 big digs. Also, Caroline Young added 9 digs in limited action.

SMU is now 14-3 overall and 3-2 in American play.
