Equestrian: SMU at South Dakota St./New Mexico St.

The No. 6 SMU Equestrian team has a big road trip to Brookings, SD this weekend for meets against South Dakota State and No. 10 New Mexico State.
The Mustangs are riding high after back-to-back home victories over then No. 1 Georgia and then No. 8 Texas A&M.
SMU is led over fences by Sylvia de Toledo and Schaefer Raposa who are each 4-1. On the flat, Sylvia de Toledo is 2-2-1.
In Western, Morgan Redwine has led the way in reining with a 3-1 record. Hannah McCain is 2-2-1 in horsemanship.
This weekend will mark the end of the fall season for SMU.

In the New Mexico State meet, Sylvia de Toledo was MOP both over fences and on the flat. Morgan Redwine was MOP in reining.

South Dakota State is up 3-2 after fences. SMU points were by Emma Roberts and Alli Toffolon.
Reining is next.

South Dakota State won reining 3-1 and lead 6-3 overall.
SMU's point was from Keagan Snively. Morgan Redwine tied her ride.

SMU wins the flat 3-2. SDSU leads 8-6 overall heading to horsemanship.
SMU points on the flat from Hayley Banas, Sylvia de Toledo, and Emma Roberts.
Emma Roberts has a hunt seat double today!

5-6 hours usually - depending on if they run any of the disciplines simultaneously.

SMU with a great performance to win horsemanship 3-1!
The final score ends up 9-9, and unfortunately SDSU wins on the raw score tiebreaker.
Horsemanship points from Jaclyn White, Courtney Line, and Morgan Redwine. Kristen Schramm tied her ride.
Alli Toffolon was MOP over fences and Morgan Redwine was MOP in horsemanship.
