M-Soccer: SMU vs. UCF (American Tournament)

SMU hosts an American quarterfinal match Saturday night against Central Florida at Westcott Field.

The Mustangs (9-5-2, 4-2-2) are the third seed in the conference tournament while the Knights (2-9-6, 1-3-4 ) are the sixth seed.

SMU and UCF played to a 1-1 draw earlier this season in Orlando.

The other quarterfinal matches are:

Temple at UConn
Cincinnati at Tulsa
Memphis at USF

The winner of the SMU-UCF match advances to the conference semifinals next weekend in Storrs, Connecticut where they will play the winner of the Tulsa-Cincinnati match.

SMU defeated UCF 4-0 tonight!

The Mustangs advance to the conference semifinals next weekend in Storrs, CT.

The American semifinal matches are SMU vs. Tulsa and UConn vs. USF.
