Mustangs Finish Sixth At Clover Cup
Haglund Earns Top-10 Finish

MESA, Ariz. (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs placed sixth at the Clover Cup at the Longbow Golf Club, closing the final round on Sunday with a team score of 305.
Junior Jenny Haglund tied for eighth individually, recording her fourth top-10 finish this season. Haglund recorded a 4-over 76 on Sunday, including four straight birdies over holes 15-18. Fellow junior Alexandra Rossi took a 15th-place finish after also shooting 4-over on Sunday. Rossi's result is her third top-15 finish in 2014-15.
Also carding a 4-over round was sophomore Evelyn Dole, who had a birdie streak of her own, posting three straight over holes 16-18. The 76 was Dole's best score of the tournament. Both sophomore Lindsey McCurdy and senior Jennifer Park had final round scores of 77 (5-over).
SMU was strong as a team over holes 15-18, shooting 7-under with 10 birdies over that stretch on Sunday.
Arizona State won the tournament, followed by host Notre Dame, TCU, Oklahoma and Florida International. Oklahoma's Hannah Wood won the Clover Cup by two shots after finishing at 7-under, with Arizona State's Monica Vaughn earning the runner-up result.
SMU's next trip will be to the Spring Break Classic in Kapalua, Hawaii. The three-day event begins March 23.
