Volleyball: 2015 SMU Doubletree Classic

The Mustangs start the 2015 season this weekend as hosts of the SMU Doubletree Classic.
Friday, the Mustangs face UTEP at 11am and Arizona at 7pm. Saturday, SMU will meet Texas State at 7pm.
SMU went 26-6 last season, including 15-5 in American play.

SMU defeated UTEP 3-1 today.

No. 17 Arizona defeated SMU 2-1 tonight.

SMU wins the first set against Texas State 25-10.

SMU is up 2-0 on Texas State after winning the second set 25-15.

SMU sweeps Texas State (25-10, 25-15, 25-23).
Abbey Bybel led the Mustangs with 14 kills. Freshman Brittany Adams also added 13 kills.
Avery Acker had 47 assists and 18 digs. Morgan Heise had 22 digs.
SMU starts the season 2-1. The Mustangs will be in Albuquerque next weekend to face Cal State-Fullerton, Santa Clara, and New Mexico in the Lobo Classic.
