SMU (1-2-1) is in Houston Thursday night to take on an old friend in Rice (3-1-0). The match starts at 6pm.

The Mustangs lead the series with the Owls 12-6-1, and although the teams played regularly when they were conference rivals and stuff like that, they have not played since 2012. Only Lissi Lonsberry, Gabby Petrucelli, Shannon Moroney, and Brooke O' Hare from the current roster have played against Rice.
