DeChambeau was a bright spot on an otherwise bad Walker Cup result for USA - (Loss by 9.5 to 16.5). He was undefeated in his singles and two ball matches (2-0-1). He won his four ball 3 and 2, and won and halved his singles matches; killing it again 6 and 5 in the Sunday singles match.

Here is a good pre tournament article on him:

While it is kind of sad, I do love this picture of him and the Walker Cup Captain.

Bryson is definitely one of the SMU greats with what he has already accomplished.

Who knows what is to come in his senior season. I know I can't wait to find out.

Absolutely, he is the best collegiate golfer we have had, which is amazing. And he's gaining confidence.

DeChambeau has been named a preseason All-American by Golfweek.
