Equestrian: SMU at Oklahoma State

No. 9 SMU (0-1) will be in Stillwater Saturday to face No. 6 Oklahoma State at Totusek Arena. Action starts at 10am.

The Mustangs are coming off a tough 10-9 final-discipline loss to TCU Thursday. This meet will be the first competition of the 2015-16 season for the Cowgirls.

Against TCU, Schaefer Raposa and Nora Gray each had hunt seat double. Raposa also collected MOP honors in both hunt seat disciplines.

SMU defeated Oklahoma State 10-9 last season at Sleepy P Ranch.

SMU points by Julia Fowler and Schaefer Raposa. Alex Butterworth tied her ride.

Oklahoma wins the flat 3-2 and leads 5-4 overall.

SMU flat points by Schaefer Raposa and Nora Gray. Raposa with another hunt seat double is now 4-0 this season.

Oklahoma state wins horsemanship 4-1. The Cowgirls now lead 9-5.

The SMU point in horsemanship was by Morgan Redwine.

Oklahoma State wins reining 4-1. OSU wins the day 13-6.

The SMU point in reining was by Kelsey Karanges. Madison Steed lost her ride by just one half point.
