Equestrian: SMU at New Mexico State

The No. 10 Mustangs will be in Las Cruces Saturday to face No. 9 New Mexico State in a United Equestrian Conference event.
SMU is 0-2 early in the season. The meet Saturday will be New Mexico State's first action of the season.

NMSU wins horsemanship 3-1.
Morgan Redwine comes through with a huge 73.5 to beat a posted 72.5. Hannah McCain tied her ride.

SMU wins the flat 3-2. NMSU leads 5-4 overall through two disciplines.
SMU flat points by Nora Gray, Sylvia de Toledo, and Schaefer Raposa.
Raposa is now 3-0 on the flat this season and 5-0 overall in hunt seat.

Today ended 9-9, with NMSU winning the raw score tiebreaker 1501.25 to 1479.25.

Schaefer Raposa was MOP on the flat. Sylvia de Toledo was MOP over fences.
