OUR SID needs to contact them and ask them to list us as SMU for sports - NOT southern methodist. Create the brand and stick with it. If we are going to get P-5 we need to not look like a tiny church school.

Yup. I don't see cal poly as "California Polytechnic State University". Not alot of people know who we are anymore. Having various naming conventions doesn't help.

"Look Mable, S.Methodist is ranked in soccer and vollyball now. Tip-top."

Not that I would want to play them, but what conference did Kentucky and South Carolina end up in after SMU and Tulsa left CUSA? Did they stay in CUSA?

Yes, they are still playing in C-USA, which is a pretty good men's soccer conference with the following teams:

Charlotte
FIU
Florida Atlantic
Kentucky
Marshall
New Mexico
Old Dominion
South Carolina
UAB
