Equestrian: SMU vs. South Dakota State

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Thu Oct 29, 2015 7:13 pm

The Mustangs face South Dakota State Friday at Sleepy P Ranch. Action is slated to start at 10am.

SMU is 1-2 early in the season. The Jackrabbits are 0-3. This meet is a United Equestrian Conference event.

The Mustangs have been very strong in the hunt seat disciplines this season. The Jacks will be a nice test in the Western events.

Go Mustangs!

SMU recap:

http://www.smumustangs.com/sports/w-equest/recaps/103015aab.html

"It was a great effort today," said head coach Carol Gwin. "This last week we were talking about the goals we want to accomplish and today we achieved those goals. I am very pleased with our riders and the horses rode great. It is very exciting to walk away with a big victory and four MOPs in all events. Obviously this was a team effort and it showed in the outcome."
