Headline in Austin Statesman Newspaper today: SMU NEWCOMER LENDEL TAKES HIGH JUMP TITLE. (huge print) Wonder if the DMN even covered this event for the Ponies?

I don't think so. This is the first article I have seen in the Austin paper about SMU. You can't even find a box score during football season for any SMU game in the American Statesman.
