Preseason tune-up set for Thursday night
DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's soccer team will host an Alumni game this Thursday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Westcott Field on the campus of SMU. Admission is free and is open to the public.
The Mustangs will play Oklahoma State this Saturday evening (Aug. 23, 7 p.m.) in Stillwater, Okla., in exhibition play before opening their regular season next Friday, Aug. 29, vs. Sam Houston State in Huntsville, Texas with a 7 p.m. scheduled kickoff.
SMU returns seven starters from last year's squad which finished ranked 20th in the nation with a record of 13-6-4. The Mustangs also are seeking their third consecutive WAC championship.
