Goodwin Nicklaus
NORMAN, Okla. – SMU's Noah Goodwin was named a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus Award, given to the top player in each division in collegiate golf.

Goodwin, who is the nation's top golfer in the Golfweek rankings, is coming off of a six-stroke victory at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, shooting in the 60s each day to lead wire-to-wire. Goodwin ranks fourth nationally with a 69.57 stroke average, and is a combined -30 since Mar. 25 with nine consecutive par-or-better rounds. He would be the first SMU golfer to break 70 in single-season scoring average.
