Men's soccer jumps to No. 11

Mustangs Move Up to No. 11
DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs improved to No. 11 in the United Soccer Coaches poll on Tuesday.
As a result of their 2-0-0 record, United Soccer Coaches jumped SMU eight places, previously sitting at No. 19. Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News followed suit, placing the Mustangs at No. 16 and No. 17, respectively.
The jump in rankings follows SMU's 5-0 victory over UCA on Monday, with graduate forward Jelldrik Dallmann recording a hat trick. The Mustangs also defeated UTRGV, 2-1, at home in their season opener, improving their record at Washburne to 10-1-1 since the start of the 2022 season.
SMU plays on the road at Denver, who also receiving votes, on Friday at 8 p.m. The Mustangs return to their home pitch on Monday to take on Oral Roberts at 7 p.m.
