Adam Neff named AAC Player of Week
IRVING, Texas (The American/SMU) – SMU men's tennis senior Adam Neff was recognized as the American Athletic Conference's Player of the Week on Tuesday.
"Adam had a great weekend on the road, playing one of his best matches of the season against Clemson," said Head Coach Grant Chen. "He has been working [deleted] his game and it is showing."
Neff, who went a combined 4-0 between singles and doubles on the week, earns his third overall AAC Player of the Week honor as a Mustang.
The senior teamed up with fellow captain Huntley Allen, going 2-0 in doubles play that included a ranked win over Clemson's No. 33 Max Smith and Noa Vukadin.
Neff also went 2-0 in singles, defeating UTRGV's Emilien Burnel on Friday and Clemson's Wissam Abderrahman on Sunday.
