Luke Sitz continues to perform at an elite level in major diving events.
ATHENS, Ga. (SMU) – Freshman Mustang Luke Sitz earned his second consecutive top-three finish of the weekend during day two of the Georgia Diving Invite on Saturday at Gabrielsen Natatorium.
Sitz earned a score of 366.90 to take third during the finals of the event. During prelims, he recorded a score of 426.85, just under 10 points off from the SMU record to earn the top seed entering the afternoon finals.
The Prosper native earned a second-place finish on 1-meter yesterday and has placed in the top three of every event he's competed in as a Mustang. His score on 3-meter on Saturday also marks the fourth time the freshman has reached the NCAA Zone Standard for the event.
SMU junior John Dymond earned a 14th-place finish in prelims with a score of 284.80.
