6 women's tennis players named to ACC All-Academic team

Mustangs well represented on ACC All-Academic team
DALLAS (SMU) – SMU women's tennis was well represented on the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team as the Atlantic Coast Conference office announced six Mustang honorees on Monday. The team recognizes student-athlete successes on the court and in the classroom.
Graduate Student Arianna Stavropoulos and seniors, Drew Morris and Ellie Pittman, led the honorees for SMU. Sophomores Millie Skelton and Caroline McGinley, as well as freshman Sophie Llewellyn and Kayla Schefke, were also named to the all-academic team.
To receive all-academic team honors, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career. Additionally, student-athletes must participate in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
This season, the Mustangs finished with an overall 12-14, 4-8 in league play, in their first season as a member of the ACC.
