Re: According to the NY Times...However, looks like 80% chose Texas over msu and 71% chose A&M over SMU.
Re: According to the NY Times...Meh. It's a "nice" number, but whatever. Seems that knife is cutting both ways anyway.
And be careful - remember the order is Lies, Damn Lies & THEN Statistics... Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
Re: According to the NY Times...Does this surprise anyone? Outside of affluent areas going to SMU has a mixed connotation. Good school full of rich jerks. Mix in the sports aspect and there you go. But we need not appeal to the proletariat.

Re: According to the NY Times...Whatever. I am the proletariat.
Just get 'em on campus. We wil win more than we lose then.
Re: According to the NY Times...
If you chose Texas A&M over SMU, SMU is the real winner. ("msu" - Midwestern in Wichita Falls?)
Re: According to the NY Times...A$M and Texas are the cheaper alternatives. $ does make a difference.
Re: According to the NY Times...
Somehow my phone has not realized that when I type SMU i really mean it. It often autocorrects to msu. I am not sure why, I have typed SMU probably 10,000 times and msu never. Ok, twice now in this post so I am sure it feels justified.

Re: According to the NY Times...This is a stupid metric. The cheapest school wins almost every time.
