Re: Lori White goneMs. White is going to Washington University in St. Louis.
I don't know if Washington U. is entirely residential or what. The stats above - enrollment of 16.1 % internatonal- would mean over 2,300 foreign students though not all would be Asian of any country. Washington U. is largely in University City with a population of about 35,000 and the community is forty percent black. The college and community are somewhat similar to SMU and Park Cities, in that it is a private college in an independent enclave with it own school system. The demographics differ. U-City used to be a fine publish school. It had lots and lots of students who received Nation Merit Scholarhips and senta lot of kids to Ivy schools. Dave Garroway, Tennessee WIlliams, Bing Devine, and Lew Wolf went to HS there, to say nothing or SMU BB player Wilbur Marsh and my wife. It may still be a good public school - the only time I visited there the bulletin board had notices about more NMS students. I take no view on the job Ms. White did for SMU. It may be she will be a better fit at Washington U. But gostang may have had it about right in the SUCCESSOR TO TURNER thread with the statement,"Student life directors are in charge of telling spoiled millennial's they cant do what they want to do - so nobody ever likes them."
Lori White goneHopefully she'll take Dr Ashely and Kevin from student life with her!

Kevin is a nice guy, but holy crap he's a total dumazz. Wouldn't be sad to see that clown go too BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
