Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0What part of Africa are you from?
or did I already ask you this
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0Very cool. They should use some of that money to give the main buildings updates. Outside of the Kitt Center / BIC & new energy center the classrooms and study rooms are old.
SMU Class of 2014
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0more scholarships is the ONLY thing that should be used on. Need to buy better MBA students.
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0Wonder why Cox won't report the actual figure when places like Chicago and Johns Hopkins are shown in the comments section providing detailed follow-up.
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0Just heard that there was a 23% drop in GMAT exams administered between 2011 and 2015. That's tough on MBA admissions, especially expensive ones that are trying to grow.
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0because MBAs are a dime a dozen and business don't care if you have one unless it's from a notable school.
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0
Agree on the last part. A Wharton MBA will open a lot of doors. A Cox MBA will open quite a few. A UNT MBA won't get you far.
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0People want one year grad programs right after undergrad vs 2 year (FT MBA) or 3 year (Law) programs?
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0Cox doesn't have a fountain yet. Just sayin'
Re: SMU Cox Endowment Ranked 22nd in the nation - $215,000,0Not reputable business school would allow a one year program for someone who is fresh out of undergrad. That is not a real MBA. Most decent schools require a few years of experience so you bring a bit more to the table. If you are going to do something right after undergrad, get your masters in finance, or accounting or commercial real estate - but don't try to call it an MBA because you will fool nobody.
