A very smart, but very obvious move on their part. Rice is positioned, perhaps better than any University in the nation, to capitalize on this type of research since they are located in the middle of the Texas Medical Center...

Don't know that SMU is in the position to do the same, but we should work to build a leading program in biotechnology or nanotechnology. With TI and other high tech companies around DFW, nanotechnology shouldn't be out of reach.
