The Slate's take on the Bush Library

General discussion: anything you want to talk about!

Do I know how to derail a post or what! By the way, no where in the Marvel Comic books did Superman ever bag a babe. Given that it will be a Presidential Library at SMU, these discussions should focus not on movies, but on questions that I have raised using only comic book sources not movies. Now we'll really know who doesn't have a life!

No, not in Marvel. But in the DC Comics he married Lois in later iterations of the story.

Heck, the Carter Center is affiliated with Emory University. I wonder how many of these wonderful professors of ours would prefer to be associated with him? Never mind, I already know the answer.... They would LOVE IT! - 100%

Just a random thought. How would you like to be a Trustee at Emory and tell your aquaintances when asked how you spent your time that you spent a lot of time with an Emory Board?

Oh what the heck, let's go off the rails one more time...

I actually got a message from someone saying the reason the super-kid's hair is long is because, like Superman's, it's too strong to cut. (Superman has to use a mirror to guide his heat vision to cut his own hair and give himself a shave). I don't buy that in the movie, because until the moment on the yacht when the kid displays super-strength, we are led to believe the kid has in no way exhibited super powers. It's simply another case of a child actor wearing a California-cool hairstyle and the director not having the foresight to make him cut it.

Anyway, Superman isn't gay. But he is a [deleted]:
