Did everyone see the news item today about the cat at the nursing home that senses death and curls up with a near death person to give them solace? Did anyone at the nursing home think that maybe the people are dying from heart attacks when they see the cat approaching and then jump up in their bed? I would bet if they got rid of the cat the life expectancy would rise dramatically.

I heard about that. I think it's the grim reaper in cat form.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"
"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"

Always knew that cats were bad news. This just confirms it.

I think it's kinda cool that the cat can detect when someone in the nursing home is near death. There must be some change in the person that the cat detects that allows it to do this, kinda like the dogs who are able to detect cancer in people.

How much does the nursing home charge Medicare/Medicaid for this cat-scan?
