That is if you are as easily amused as I am. I am so proud to have lived in this fine city once.

And for the record, no, I never rode it.

I used to work for a Savings and Loan in a very small town (at the time) in Central Texas. I will not name the institution but its name began with a "C". I handled all of the marketing and I recorded a radio ad for the company that promoted people paying additonal on their principal on their home mortgages in order to cut the length of time they would have to maturity on their mortgage. We had a 3 tiered plan that allowed either an additional $100/mo., or double PI monthly or double PITI monthly with reduced rates depending on the program chosen. It was a great " Loan Appreciation Program." It was all in fun but the radio station made me pull the ad after a few runs of asking people to come to our Savings and Loan and get the "C.L.A.P". True story.

The S.L.U.T. wasn't there when I lived there, but it doesn't surprise me that the t-shirts, etc. are as popular as they are. They are such classy people.
