This does not affect many on this board but I thought it was worth mentioning. In the past, lettermen have gotten a free season ticket with the purchase of one. This year it abruptly ended. It did not upset me terribly but it would have been nice to have known before I ordered my tickets instead of being a surprise.

Now I receive a letter that says a survey was done of other schools and they do not offer the 2-fer deal so SMU decided to discontinue doing it. However, apparently due to the lack of communication they have determined they would extend it for one more year. Those that have already purchased their tickets this year will receive a credit next year, and that was confirmed tonight with a personal call telling me so.

It may have been handled a little poorly initially but they have made up for it by a very professional method of correcting their misstep.

I got no personal call, but did speak with Steve-O after the game on Friday. He reassured me that we are on the road to winning. Nice to have an AD that sits among the fans instead of up in a box.

It is happening everywhere. They are screaming at the Arkansas games that they can not leave the stadium and return unless they have another ticket. They decided this after taking a survey of they other SEC schools. Sound familiar?
