Celebrate Perunaâ€™s Oktoberfest

Peruna IX will take over the reins from Peruna VIII as the official mascot of SMU at the UCF vs. SMU game. To celebrate this event and honor the second longest reigning mascot in school history, the Diamond M Club is sponsoring a farewell Oktoberfest Party on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Trinity Hall at Mockingbird Station.

Plan on having a great time as we partner with Trinity Hall and raise money for the Peruna Fund and the Mustang Band Scholarship Fund. There will be face painting and balloons for the children, bratwurst for everyone, an assortment of German beers for the adults, the SMU spirit groups, a concert by the SMU Alumni Band, and most important:

A Special Appearance By Peruna VIII.

Date: Saturday, October 8, 2011
Time: 2-6 pm
Place: Trinity Hall @ Mockingbird Station

Peruna will be on location from 3-5 and the Alumni Band will play @ 4:00.

How appropriate that we initiate a new Peruna at the same time that we are screwed out of moving up to an AQ conference.
