Gates open at 5:00 PM and the first 1,000 SMU fans to enter through the University Days entrance near the Southwest Airlines Third Base Gate will receive a limited edition SMU-themed Rangers hat. Hat pick up is available until all hats have been distributed or the end of the 7th inning, whichever comes first.

Last year, they had extra hats & were selling them for $10 each at the end of the game.

You had to buy the special SMU ticket to get a voucher for a hat.
