Well, it's certainly ... brighter. Not sure what I think about the blue yet. Any suggestions? Still working on the homepage.

I think it looks great! Huge improvement. Looks like the "Pony Express" blue to me. When it comes to colors I have a tough time matching. Perhaps some of our female PonyFans could verify we have the color right? Thanks for putting in the time on this.

I am using PMS 286, as specified by the official athletic site, although I faded it down with a slightly darker shade of blue.

If these are the new uniform colors, they suck. Looks like something someone in grade school put together...primary red and blue.
The colors of the official SMU Flag that flies at the football games has the same shades of red and blue that the American flag has. These are not those colors.
Excuse me...I have to go throwup now.
SMU 1983...Here are the colors we should be going for:
Very similar to PF.com's previous colors. Some marketing genius between 1983 and today screwed up our colors royally!

Keep in mind that what you see on the computer isn't the same as what it is in real life.
Ahhhh...virtual colors. I can see the difference between Leach's jersey and PF.coms new banner color. Not even close.

You're right - the color on the banners is BETTER!
Is it just my machine, or is the blue on the homepage still more of a navy blue?

The reality is that the school colors have been defined and we do not use Navy Blue, which is a much deeper color obviously.
I think the uniform colors will resemble this revised Ponyfans version and as Bill Murray said in Stripes, "That's a fact . . .Jack." It is what it is.

My HDTV is calibrated (yeah, I don't use a monitor anymore), and the blue I get seems quite a bit darker than what you guys are describing. It's a few shades lighter than Mr. Leach, but that's to be expected on a back-lit screen.

Colors don't look any different to me than before... medium color on my left monitor and much darker on my right.

either way i like it, good job yall!...it would be cool to see the white helmet incorporated with the past and present significant sports figures in SMU's history faded together with doak centered

as has been posted here several times the shade of blue Bobby Leach is wearing at the Cotton Bowl was a tad darker than SMU's actual colors during the 1980s. Something about special uniforms for the Bowl Game.

its the monitor calibration not the website...try adjusting your brightness
