"Fort Worth police were called to the 3500 block of Rogers Avenue at 11:27 p.m. Thursday.
According to a police report, the caller told a dispatcher that "a person with a blowtorch was chasing another person attempting to set them on fire."

Isn't TCU affiliated with the really conservative Church of Christ denomination (no alcohol, no piano music, no dancing, etc.) and not the Obama ultra liberal Church of Christ denomination? If part of the conservative sect, I'll bet the church fathers are wetting themselves over all of this. This might lead to a TCU coup by their Board of Trustees.

TCU is affiliated with the Disciples of Christ. No clue if that's "really conservative" or "ultra liberal" but I've never seen them as being as conservative as, say, Baylor

The NCAA said that 22.6 percent of 20,474 student-athletes participating in an anonymous survey in 2009 admitted to using marijuana the previous 12 months. That number was up from 21.2 percent in 2005.

Among the most high-profile sports, across all divisions, 26.7 percent of football players and 22 percent of men's basketball players admitted in 2009 to using marijuana the previous year. Both were up significantly from the 2005 numbers (21.7 percent and 18.6 percent, respectively).

Because we will be reminded that SMU is worse. No matter what school get's in trouble, it will be quickly pointed out that SMU is far worse. Lift up our enemies, and take a poop on SMU every chance you get, is the motto of someone around here.

There are several on here with that attitude. I have never understood it. Don't have to be a Sunshiner to just discuss what happened at another school without running down your own school. These guys will say how much worse SMU is no matter what the discussion is about. Read the posts on this thread. It is not just the one obvious individual that does it.
