AND separated the donations too! only the first $1000 cross counts. they're like liberal policy makers, "taxing" the people with the good seats, but really they're squeezing out the middle class that can't afford both.
Fortunately you can still get good seats to football for that $1,000 donation that counts for both, but I take your point.
