I understand, but the game wouldn't always be on Halloween. The Saturday before Halloween would suffice.
They did have trick-or-treating on the stadium concourse for the Halloween game two years ago. The sororities and student organizations set up tables, dressed up as characters and handed out candy to the kids. It wasn't quite the same as ringing doorbells in the neighborhood, but my little one took in quite a haul of candy.
If everyone with a tent on the Boolevard also handed out candy, I don't think the kids would miss anything.
