RH&B

Seriously? That place is more like Bennigan's than a real BBQ joint, IMHO. Next you're gonna say Spring Creek.

I used to like Holy Smokes before they went out of business. Now I settle for Sonny Bryan's on Lovers, but it not an ideal settlement. (Can you say "chain"?)

Hey I have a spring creek behind my house. Use the buy one get one coupon . Best meal for two $11 can buy. :-)

Baker's Ribs on Greenville near University is tasty for what it is. Whenever we do BBQ for catering at the office, we use them.

Where in south Dallas? I might have to make it down there sometime.

1800 S. Akard. South of DT in the hood. More industrial area but plenty of crime to go around for everyone. Daytime place.

While RH&B might not have the best atmosphere, it has good pulled pork. It is more Memphis style BBQ which I happen to like. Give it a try. Baby bak Shak is more Memphis/New Orleans style. Guy who owns it had a place in Memphis and moved to Dallas. I do not remember them having pulled pork but worht going.

while it is on my mind, Rudy's up in Frisco is pretty good. I actually really enjoyed it. great pulled pork and a lot of big dudes seemed to really be enjoying the ribs since they had half of it on their face and continued to make out with their fingers.

Take the tollroad north past legacy and it will be on your right. I have only been there once and it was really good. A bit of a drive for us but if it is nice outside, not so bad.

That's farther than the bar. I'd rather have a point burger.

I like the fatty brisket at rudy's. Ribs are good, too.

Came across a site that ya'll might already know about, which reviews BBQ primarily in Texas :
Http://fullcustomgospelbbq.com. See if you agree with their ratings.

I hear you. But go down to the original Rudy's in San Antonio (Leon Springs). It's no schtick. Get the chopped, which is just a blend of whatever's laying around all chopped up. Oh my.
