Pretty decent burger at Sam's Burger House. It is located at the intersection of Frankford and Preston. Good fries and rings as well.

We have tried to avoid Oklahoma. Seriously we tried to stay relatively close to the SMU campus..within a mile or two so we haven't tried any of the many burger places farther out. We are all glad to hear of other good places...in case we lose our way and wind up in Oklahoma. :D

Here's a weird one for you guys.

Everybody is probably familiar with Wild About Harry's (custard and dogs) on Knox. Well, they now have a sit-down restaurant on Preston at Forest that serves burgers.

They had a peanut butter burger (a burger with peanut butter and bacon strips) on the menu. That combo was sooo weird, well, I had to try it... And it was pretty darn good! Not Burger Wars class, but pretty darn good.

So get the word out to Chuck Faucette: send those skinny freshmen over to Harry's for peanut butter burgers - guaranteed to pack on some pounds.

Sonny Bryan's Barbeque has also just opened a new venue at Preston and Forest in the southwest corner...across from Whole Foods Market.

I'll take props where props are due. Seems like I recall a post some time ago about Red Robin burgers...I knew there was a reason they appealed to this Ponyman!

It looks like Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger in the shopping center on Lovers Lane, on the west side of the tollway will be opening within the next week or so.

Did Harvey Goff sell out to this establishment? Goff's Hamburgers is going out of business at the end of this month.

Highly recommend CheeburgerCheeburger located in the Inwood Village shopping center. It is across from Lovers Eggroll. Burger was great as where the onion rings. Be hungry!
