Re: UIL investigating SA John Jay players for targeting refeSo I went to this lacrosse tournament in Austin a week ago. (Son's team won by the way, thanks for asking)
Anyway, there was a San Antonio team there for the first time. Nobody had ever played them before or even heard of them before. Aside from the fact the team was really, really bad (beat them 13-0 and it wasn't that close), the kids and parents were just embarrassingly awful. Kids almost fought, reckless penalties and heckling parents. What parents heckle a youth lacrosse game when your kid's team is down double-digits? Between this incident, those parents and that Friday Night Tykes TV show, I am beginning to think it is just something about San Antonio.
