Wouldn't it likely be swamped for hours before and after we retain the Iron Skillet?

Screw it, let's get a bunch of PonyFans to show up the minute it opens and not move until it's time to get to the stadium to see the Ponies stomp the Frogs.

I don't know, Joe T. Garcia's is pretty damn good, too.
Aside from those, though, you're right — NO reason to go there .... other than to watch the Ponies stomp the Frogs!

Yes. And it is quite goo. Almost as good as the original. It is also a stone's throw from the Southlake Snuffer's.

Do you guys ever storm up and down the Boulevard and rate the burgers there? The ones on my grill would be right up there near the top ... especially after a few beers!

Went to Trinity Hall to watch the soccer game last night, and the cheeseburger there was surprisingly good. I'll order it again.

Postby Captain E J Smith » Wed Oct 31, 2007 10:39 am

The original Chili's on Upper Greenville is closing today.
Lately the burgers are not the greatest
Back in the 70's and 80's I loved the Terlingua Pride

I went there once. It was not pleasant.

But someone later told me that it was the first Chili's so i respected it more after that.

And technically that's not the original... yes the original location, but if you recall they built that one new about, I don't know 15 years ago, on the same spot... or more rightly in the parking lot.
