Another burger to try: Second Floor Bistro @ the Galleria/Westin. Very, very good burger. Maybe the best. Top 3 material, IMO. Better than Twisted Root. Better than Snuffers. Better than Fudds. Better than Jakes.
Helpful hint: valet at the Westin (NOT the Galleria) and they'll validate it for you.
Good place for business meetings.

I know it's a pillar in the community, or something, but that place's burgers were more overrated than any I know of except for Snuffers and Jack's, which are barely cafeteria-quality burgers.

wasn't that. they couldn't afford the current market rent. they had used up all their renewal options. Rent is about $42/sf (gross) in Snyder Plaza. that's too much for someone like Balls who doesn't own their building (see:Bubbas & Kubys)
will be a Dunkin' Donuts and a yet to be named (i konw but not telling b/c the deal isn't inked) sandwich shop.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Just got back from Vegas. Next time you are out there, check out Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. Great "gourmet" burgers, with ingredients such as Kobe beef, buffalo, lamb, salmon, etc.
Great burger (I had buffalo) and excellent onion rings.

Lamb? SALMON? That's un-American, if not flat-out immoral.
