Company I work for is developing a subdivision in San Antonio and I get to name the streets. Would love to through in some SMU references. Drawing a blank here. Thinking about Peruna Drive (blvd. etc). Will gladly listen to suggestions.

Raplh - you are not allowed to post in this thread.

And for Raplh and DukeBlueBlood this is going to be a nice subdivision not like what I normally do.

Unfortunately there is already a Hilltop Drive.

For some odd reason San Antonio would not let me have Crack Whore lane intersect with Pimp Cup Drive

Dreibrodt, the legendary SMU band director, he's from San Antonio. That'd be kind of rough to have as a road name though.

How about these:
Fondren
Dedman
Mustang
Barcus (old band director, chose the fight song and bought the horse Peruna from the circus)
Tate
McFarlin
Perkins
Hyer
Caruth
Cockrell Beach
Boaz
Barr
Gregg
Rossley
Collins
Bell
Morrison
Arden

...ok I'm running out of ideas

I liked Adairs so I named a street in my Highland Heights Subdivision after it. Wonder if SA would accept Green Elephant road. Or even better The Loon Road.

there is an old subdivision in west Dallas where Amos & Andy streets cross. no joke.

when i showed it to our capital partners in NY, they were very uncomfortable and wanted to laugh, but knew they shouldn't. everyone from Texas got in a good chuckle though.

I love your list WP but I am afraid that although having an SMU flair, James Street will only fit in Austin.

My favorites so far are Ownby, Doak and Peruna
