I'm thinking about buying a Harley Sportster. Possibly a hawg. Any motorcycle buffs out there? Thoughts?

Have you ridden one yet? It's like driving a board with wheels. Very stiff ride. The evo I rode was still a blast though. The fatboy and wideglide are a million times smoother.

Forget the engine and get a Trek Road Bike. Both Harley and Trek are manufactured in Wisconsin.

In the past I had a Honda 90, Bultaco Lobito, Yamaha 305 and Norton Commando 750. I always dreamed of having a Sportster. I have a couple of friends who ride the big Harleys but I quit riding a long time ago. I have the bug to get back into it now. Thanks for the input.

There are a lot of bikes that are smooth these days. Number one thing is WEAR the helmet.
I have had a few but for the dollar ( I think this way ) do not get a harley. You pay twice the price for the name. I guess if you get a good deal on a almost new one that would be cool.
I have a V-Star Classic 1100 now. It rides great and is long enough for the wife and I to stretch out. Be Safe!

Forget V-twin air-cooled motorcycles. Put something exciting between your legs like a Triumph or Ducati. Triumph (factories in UK and in Thailand) now manufactures some of the most modern high-quality bikes being made anywhere.

A friend of mine is a Triumph guy. Has old ones and new ones. Victory is another good bike. Expensive.
I love the v twin air cooled bike. A Classic.
