I just stopped by smumustangs.com and the old curved block "SMU" logo is on there again. So does this mean the slanted SMU logo that no one really cared for is officially gone?

We need to go back to the old style football uniforms. Everyone in the country indentifies with this uniform. It is big time. Bring back the white helmet, and the stripes with the red facemask! I love that uniform. White pant with the stripes, blue jersey at home...mix in a red jersey every once in a while. White on white on the road. Maybe a blue pant on the road every once in a while. To me it is just a classsic look that transcends any era.

Boy the new setup and color scheme really does look sharp.

A damn uniform isn't bringing Dickerson et al back.

No but it will look much better having one uniform that looks good, the school and the country identifies with, and doesn't need to be changed every two years. It sure looks better than the 24 uniforms we've gone through in the last 20 years because we want pizzazz and flash in place of having a recognizeable style.

the new page looks better because the brighter blue is the dominant color-and it wasn't designed by an Aggie.

Sorry, but there WAS football on the Hilltop prior to 1980.

Nothing is more classic than this: red helmet w/ white mustang; blue home jerseys with large, white block numerals, and gray pants; white road jerseys with red numerals.
