Got the following email from Gerry York today:
Just wanted all of you to know that Heritage Hall will be having a garage sale on 7-28 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Lettermen's Room at Moody Coliseum. We will have duplicate football programs (around 100 and some dating back to the 1940's), duplicate pictures, wall posters, and lots of film and video. Will give you more details the closer we get. My suggestion would be that if you are in town you will need to get there early.

Wow!!! Sha-Zammmmm!!!
Dang!!!
I may try to make that. Didn't get an e-mail, however.
I'm in Texarkana visiting the family from the 25th thru the 30th & I may grab the young'in & take him over for a day.
I wonder if they have enough stuff there to make it worth its while?

wonder if I can convince them to auction of my lifelong fandom and unwaivering devotion to some unsuspecting sap without enough disappointment in his life. I'd throw in my jerseys, old season schedule posters, unused decals, programs, plastic cups, those mini mega phones they used to hand out, mini-footballs they threw into the stands when I was younger, tee shirts, and my mini-helmet to boot!
Somebody's not gonna' like it.
On second thought... never mind... Just as I have said - oh about every year - this will be the year. I think I actually mean it this year. Problem is, I actually meant it last year too.

No way, that's a masters. I'm just an apprentice at this point.

I'm going to be out of the state that weekend - no way I can make it. Any way to get a list of what will be there, to try to add to the collection (at least from the stuff that's not purchased)?

Yes, it is actually happening and is open to all Mustang fans as I have been told by someone in administration! Really neat thing for them to set up for all the true SMU fans.
Another great thing is all proceeds are going to the preservation of Heritage Hall, which I personally think is great. Hope to see a good turnout for the event.

Thx for the feedback.
Is it really starting at 8? Are there any formal announcements anywhere?
