I've not yet been there, but apparently there has been a rebirth of THE FILLING STATION! Anyone in the Preston/Tollway area go check it out and let us know if it is truly like the original.

I will be there saturday night and can give a report.

Long live Tailpipes.
Long live Tuneups!

Got an exact address? Better location? Do you mean Preston and GWB Tollroad?

Yes, GWB not dallas north tollway.

I don't have an exact address, I was just told the general area. For the Filling Station, I'm willing to look around.

A 'Google' search does not turn up anything for The Filling Station Restaurant in either Dallas, Plano or Richardson...sounds like you may have to scout this one out.

Was this the place that used to be on Upper Greenville? If so, they served a drink called a Ring Job that was served on fire. After two, they would cut you off and not serve anything else. I think each one had five shots in it.

Rather than use google, I used Yahoo and came up with this information. Exact address is 19009 Preston Road. Link has additional information.

Considering that none of us have been there, we don't know.

I'll go check it out tomorrow and report. If the address is correct, then its right across the street from one of my office buildings so I can make an excuse to drive up there. Strange that I havent seen it...must been in a strip center, not a standalone like the old place.
