Happy Thanksgiving Pony Fans

Postby OR-See-Nee » Wed Nov 21, 2007 12:18 pm

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Even with all of the comments that are made on the board--some of them even negative--we can all find something for which we can give thanks. I wish you all a very happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

I give thanks for a family that I love and that loves me.
I give thanks for a job that allows me to support my family.
I give thanks for clients who are nice to work with.
I give thanks for a wonderful wife who loves me and puts up with me (especially my time on Pony Fans) and is so encouraging of SMU athletics (even though she did not attend SMU).
I give thanks to all of you for the wise cracks on this board that make me laugh so often.
I give thanks for my relationship with my God.
I give thanks for this great country.
I give thanks for all of those who sacrifice their time, their families, their health, their comfort, and in too many instances, their lives, to protect us and allow us to do the things that we do.

I give thanks that we have a team that is in the postseason! Go SMU soccer! Beat Gonzaga!

I give thanks for a company that doesn't monitor internet usage during the work day.

I'm sure they know about you. They can just look at you and tell.

Ditto to everyone. Enjoy your family time on Thanksgiving. Eat, Drink, and eat some more. I'm going to top off my meal with one wafer thin mint.

My favorite Holiday of the year! Nothing like having a day off to play some football, watch football, watch the women slave in the kitchen then cap off the festive day by sitting down to an amazing dinner with family and friends and enjoying the finer points of life. Hope everyone has a good day and prepares for the Christmas onslaught that begins tomorrow!
