Such a shame. I heard on the news last night that she was on the equestrian team, but they then said that she attended NTSU and was majoring in education. It seemed like a big jump from SMU pre-law to NTSU education. In any case, very sad.

I knew Ashley. She was a very sweet young lady and a kind soul. She had such a nice smile and a great personality. My heart just sank when I got an email from a mutual friend of ours that said she was involved in that accident. Sad to see such a young life with a bright future gone.

I went to high school and marched in the HS band with her. I am absolutely speechless.

Have they released a good answer on how exactly this happened? Very bizarre tragedy.

I saw somewhere that the police said the load on the trailer shifted and sent the truck over the wall. They also believe he was going too fast.
