i couldn't find the old thread so i decided to start a new one....
I have officially been tobacco free for 24 days! although i still have terrible cravings to dip I feel like I am at a point where I can finally move on. (side note: hunting season is just around the corner so I'm not making any predictions) (side note 2: go red sox, yankees suck)

Stay with it, I quit dipping Kodiak on 12/31/07, except for a few stray cans. It's been one of the best things I've ever done, especially since my gum was REALLY receding where I kept my dip most of the time. It's not that bad after a couple of months.

Stay with it expony18! You can do it! Seriously. If you get a craving for that nasty stuff, chew some gum instead. I have faith that you can do it!

Good job.
I found the best way to wean the nicotine craving is to grab some nicotine lozenges - "Commit"
Just buy a popac 4 mg and break them in 1/2 and only use them when you're going bonk.
Much better than reverting.
You can do it!
I know from experience.

And then kick back with a big glass of MacAllen 25yr. scotch. You will soon forget the 'dip' habit.
Good luck- stay with it.
GO PONIES!!!
