Quick questions for the attorneys

With the end of another president’s administration, we might see a flood of presidential pardons.
My question is, are presidential pardons limited to federal crimes or can a pardon be for a state crime as well?

im not a lawyer but i believe it only applies to federal crimes

President can only pardon federal crimes. Governor can pardon state crimes.
