I have one but I am so computer illiterate that I can not yet use it to its full advantage. I learn a little something new every day. It does beat carrying the laptop around.

Get the I phone.

Here are a couple of things I learned over the past few days that are not totally obvious with the phone and its controls, or owners manual

If for any reason you suddenly notice your phone is not ringing no sound. Look to the volume control on the top left and there is a silent switch if its red you have muted the phone, the switch moves back and forth not up and down.

Applications can only be down loaded to your phone if you have an I TUNES account.

Just go to the apple home page on your desk top or lap top and down load it once you get your user name and pass word you can dump the program if you’re not going to use it on your computer I did.

The applications are the key to tricking out your phone. Just click on the applications icon and scroll through the categories a bunch of free stuff like weather NCAA basket ball way cool live scores… your fav teams in just an un godly amount of cool stuff

When you choose the app it will prompt you for a user name and pass WORD YOU’RE ITUNE INFO them zip…. they download fast. And Bing you click on it you can play with it see if you want to keep it.

The trick to delete an application is to hold your finger on the one that has to go it starts to wiggle, then you will see a tiny red x….. click that and it will ask you if you want to dump it, confirm and then its gone.

Email set up. Don’t do what I did forever trying to figure this out, why you don’t get a notification when your phones a sleep. You must have a PUSH EMAIL account you can get one at mobile me for 99 a year and 60 day free trial it WORKS PERFECT and you get the mail when the phone is asleep.

You can’t change a lot of sound like you can on the crack berry but you can choose ring tones for people etc.

The browser is way cool it’s like you have a mini web screen. The only down side is that it will not show flash. Their all like that so far.

By a car charger for 29 bucks. The battery will only last about 1.5 hours of constant use before it goes to low warning.

This will save you a lot of time if you want this phone

Be aware..... if you snap a picture with your 3G Iphone it stores the GPS coordinates in the image data. Don't post any embarassing pics online, people can find out who you are.
