Ridiculously stupid trade - Henry doesn't have a ton left, but why would you trade a starter for a guy that is about to be released anyway? Kitna is coming off a pretty serious injury, so who knows what he still has in the tank?

Stupid trade, but par for the course for this franchise. The Cowboys' peer group is the Bengals and Raiders thanks to Jerry insisting on playing GM...I don't get how people still defend his way of doing business.

Add all the talent you want, but that doesn't make a team - HBPD, your Phins are a prime example of what solid coaching and good team guys can do for a team. Jerry doesn't have a clue (but I still don't get why WFAA dedicated a whole week to it).

Actually, I don't have a problem with this trade. First off, you've got 2 guys behind Henry in Jenkins and Scandrick that will be competing for that position, so it's not like as though you don't have anyone there to fill the position. Second, Henry isn't exactly an iron man when it comes to durability. Third, they're both in the last year of their contracts and you're getting a backup without having to spend additional money for one. Who else is out there that we can get that's serviceable. Grossman? Please, the only reason he even sniffed a Super Bowl is because of the Bears' defense. The biggest thing about this deal is that there is some money savings on the cap. Keep one thing in mind, there is a certain LB on the team that they're going to have to spend some money to lock up, especially after the Redskins jacked up the market for defensive players with the signing of Haynesworth. I was actually more intrigued with the signing of Brooking. I think, characterwise, it's a great signing and I think he'll contribute a lot more than Zach Thomas did. One thing that I thought about that might be a possible scenario, if Dallas is wanting someone as a filler, is maybe bringing in Shawn Springs if the Skins release him. He's probably a little bit better than Henry and he would be closer to his family. I could see him coming to Dallas at a reasonable price.

Henry played 16 games last year. Jenkins performance in the Giants game should make you worry more than just a little about him - not to mention the fact that he reportedly is a big TO follower.

This won't be a playoff team next year either, and then all hell is going to break loose.
