after 76 years no pigskin review this football season. how sad that another long standing tradition comes to an end. messing with peruna and now this.

This was inevitable. Without Greek participation and with, quite honestly, the overall decline in the quality of the acts, it just wasn't going to be viable anymore. Furthermore, there were so many other costs and other red tape that just prevented the band from breaking even on it. I believe that there were other issues involved as well but I won't get into those here on a public forum.

They are planning on doing something for homecoming. It won't be a Pigskin Review, but a performance of some kind. I will ask...

Diamond M Club 2009 Homecoming Celebration: 7:00 p.m. (Reception 6:30 p.m.)
he DMC is proud to announce our 2009 Homecoming Celebration featuring the
Mustang Band. In addition to the Band being our guests for the evening, they will also be performing. This will be held at the Radisson Hotel. The price for this event includes a full dinner and drink ticket. The cost of your ticket will also help to subsidize the expenses for the Mustang Band.
